#fridayfaces – kids in cuba

Stopping in the middle of the hills between and Trinidad, Cuba to buy a roadside lunch from a local house, we end up at a local party to celebrate National Honour Teachers Day – teachers, parents, children, food, wine, music, dancing – it was a pretty cool afternoon with some warm and welcoming people.

#fridayfaces – young monks not studying in Laos

During the same lazy days in Luang Prabang one Christmas, I also came to learn that not all young monks were always studying hard, some were just enjoying themselves and being teenagers.

#fridayfaces – smiles in vanuatu

It seems like the whole island comes to the “airport” each time a plane lands on the outer islands of Vanuatu, for the teenagers it seems like their equivalent of hanging at the mall in my country!
